Bahia Watson

Bahia Watson is a storyteller and multidisciplinary artist. For the stage, her theatre credits include: The Virgin Trial; Bakkhai, The Last Wife, The Diary of Anne Frank (Stratford Festival), The Seagull (Crow’s Theatre/Company Theatre), Someone Else (Crow’s Theatre/Canadian Stage), The Penelopiad (Nightwood Theatre), DISS (Mixed Company) and A Raisin in the Sun (Soulpepper) and pomme is french for apple (paul watson productions), which she also co-wrote, directed and produced. She is currently writing and developing MASHUP, a bashment circus variety show and shaniqua in abstraction, which explores the psyche of black womanhood. Her film/TV credits include: The Expanse (Amazon); The Handmaid’s Tale (MGM/Hulu); Star Trek: Discovery (CBS), Saving Hope (CTV) and Remedy (CTV). She can also be heard voicing numerous animated characters on shows like Total Dramarama (Cartoon Network); Clifford the Big Red Dog (Amazon) and Mysticons (Nickelodeon/YTV). Bahia is also a freelance writer with a monthly column, carte blanche, in Intermission Magazine.
